【摘要】:ThistestmethodisusedtodetermineconformancewithprovisionsofSpecificationC33pertainingtotheamountoflightweightmaterialinfineandcoarseaggregates.Aheavyliquidwithaspecificgravityof2.0isusedtoseparateparticleswhichmaybeclassifiedascoalorlignite.Heavierliquidsaretobeusedtocheckthepercentagesofotherlightweightparticlessuchaschertandshalehavingaspecificgravitylessthan2.40.Thetestmethodisusefulinidentifyingporousaggregateparticlesinresearchactivitiesorinpetrographicanalyses.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepercentageoflightweightpiecesinaggregatebymeansofsink-floatseparationinaheavyliquidofsuitablespecificgravity.1.2ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,see6.1.4.
