【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesthelaunchconditionrequirementsusedformeasuringmultimodeattenuationinpassivecomponentsandininstalledcableplants.Inthisstandard,thefibretypesthatareaddressedincludecategoryA1a(50μm/125μm)andA1b(62,5μm/125μm)multimodefibres,asspecifiedinIEC60793-2-10.Thenominaltestwavelengthsdetailedare850nmand1300nm.Thisstandardmaybesuitableformultimodeattenuationmeasurementsforothermultimodecategoriesand/orotherwavelengths,butthesourceconditionforothercategoriesandwavelengthsarenotdefinedhere.Thepurposeoftheserequirementsisasfollows:?toensureconsistencyoffieldmeasurementswhendifferenttypesoftestequipmentareused;?toensureconsistencyoffactorymeasurementswhendifferenttypesoftestequipmentareused;?toensureconsistencyoffieldmeasurementswhencomparedwithfactorymeasurements.Thisstandarddescribeslaunchconditionrequirementsforopticalattenuationusingsourceswithacontrolledencircledflux(EF).
