【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodoftestandcriteriaforthedeterminationofthefireresistanceofver-ticalandhorizontalventilationductsunderstandardizedfireconditions.2Thegeneralpurposeofthistestistomeasuretheabilityofarepresentativeductorductassemblytoresistthespreadoffirefromonefirecompartmenttoanotherwithouttheaidoffiredampers.3Itisapplicabletoverticalandhorizontalducts,withorwithoutbranches,takingintoaccountjoints,airsupplyandex-haustopenings,aswellassuspensiondevices,etc.4ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicableto:a)ductsabovefire-resistingsuspendedceilings(horizon-talmembranes)inthosecaseswheretheductsrelyfortheirfireresistanceontheperformanceoftheceiling;NOTE—Othertestsarenecessaryfortheseducts.b)ductscontainingfiredampersatpointswheretheypassthroughfireseparations.NOTE—Inordertoassessthefireresistanceoffiredampers,othertestsarerequired.Amethodoftestforfiredampersisundercon-siderationasasubjectforafutureInternationalStandard.5ThisInternationalStandardisnotappropriateforthefollowingductsunlessthefurthercriteriadescribedinthean-nexareestablishedtothesatisfactionoftheappropriateauthority:a)ductsofmaterialswhichareextremelysensitivetother-malshock;NOTE—Thermalshockmayaffectsuchductsinawaythatwoulddifferfromtheeffectinthistest,butthetestmaystillbeusedwhereitcanbeestablishedthatsensitivitytothermalshockiswithinacceptablelimits.b)smokeoutletducts;NOTE—Theseductsneedtoretaintheirintegrityandcross-sectionalareaunderfireconditions.Consequentlycriteriaforac-ceptanceadditionaltothosegiveninthisInternationalStandardarerequired.ThisInternationalStandardisonlyapplicable,therefore,tosmokeoutletductsifthecriteriaforintegrityfailureofarepresentativesmokeoutletductwithinthefurnaceandthelossofretentionofcross-sectionalareaofsuchductsareagreedbetweenallpartiesconcernedandareinvestigatedandreported(seetheannex).c)ductslinedontheinsidewithcombustiblematerialorwhichinpracticemayaccumulatecombustibledepositsontheirinsideface(suchaskitchenextractducts).NOTE—Additionalcriteriaregardingtheinsulationperformanceoftheductarerequiredinthiscase(seetheannex).6ThisInternationalStandarddoesnottakeintoconsidera-tiontheeffectofimpactshockloadingonductsduetothecol-lapseofsupportingoradjacentstructuralmembersorothercomponents,orofimpact-orthermalshockloadingresultingfromtheapplicationofawater(hose)stream.NOTE—ThemethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardshouldbeusedsolelytomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofductsandtheirsupportsinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbyitselfbecon-sideredorusedforthedescription,appraisalorregulationofthefirehazardofsuchductsorsupportsunderactualfirecon-ditions.
