【摘要】:ThispartofISO13982specifiestheminimumrequirementsforchemicalprotectiveclothingresistanttopenetrationbyairbornesolidparticles(type5).Thesegarmentsarefull-bodyprotectiveclothing,i.e.coveringtrunk,armsandlegs,suchasone-piececoverallsortwopiecesuits,withorwithouthoodorvisors,withorwithoutfootprotection.Requirementsforcomponentparts,suchashoods,gloves,boots,visorsorrespiratoryprotectiveequipmentmightbespecifiedinotherInternationalandEuropeanStandards.ThispartofISO13982isapplicableonlytoairbornesolidparticulates.Itisnotapplicabletootherformsofchallengebysolidchemicals,e.g.penetrationofchemicaldustthroughmaterialsbyrubbingorflexing,whichmayformtheobjectofseparatestandards.

【摘要】:Theflashpointtemperatureisonemeasureofthetendencyofthetestspecimentoformaflammablemixturewithairundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Itisonlyoneofanumberofpropertiesthatmustbeconsideredinassessingtheoverallflammabilityhazardofamaterial.Flashpointisusedinshippingandsafetyregulationstodefineflammableandcombustiblematerialsandclassifythem.Consulttheparticularregulationinvolvedforprecisedefinitionsoftheseclassifications.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterialsinresponsetoheatandatestflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshallnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterialsunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessment,thattakesintoaccountallofthefactorsthatarepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheflashpointofaviationturbinefuel,dieselfuel,kerosineandrelatedproductsinthetemperaturerangeof40to135x00B0;Cbyasmallscaleclosedcupapparatus.1.2Thistestmethodisonlyapplicabletohomogeneousmaterialsthatareliquidatornearambienttemperatureandattemperaturesrequiredtoperformthetest.1.3Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletoliquidscontaminatedbytracesofhighlyvolatilematerials.1.4Thistestmethodisadynamicmethodanddependsonadefiniterateoftemperatureincrease.Itisoneofmanyflashpointmethodsavailable,andeveryflashpointtestmethod,includingthisone,isanempiricalone.1.5Iftheuser''sspecificationrequiresadefinedflashpointmethod,neitherthistestnoranyothermethodshouldbesubstitutedfortheprescribedmethodwithoutobtainingcomparativedataandanagreementfromthespecifier.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7andtheMaterialSafetyDataSheetfortheproductbeingtested.
