【摘要】:ThispartofISO9711specifiesamethodforidenti-fyingthelocationsinwhichcontainersmaybecar-riedonboardacontainership.Bysettingupthisuniformidentificationmethod,itisthenpossibletotransmitinformationaboutthespaceassignmentsgiventothespecificcontainersbeingcarried.Fur-ther,byknowingthephysicaldesigncharacteristicsofthevessel,andthephysicaldataaboutthecon-tainersandthecargoloadedineachcontainer,cal-culationscanbemadeaboutthestabilityandtrimoftheshipbeforesettingouttosea.Also,knowingwhatcontainersareonboardandwheretheyaredestined,itispossibletonotifycargoagentsinad-vanceoftheship'sarrivalinorderthattheymayplantopickupanddelivertheircontainerspromptly.ItisapplicabletoallstandardfreightcontainerscoveredbyInternationalStandardsandshould,whereverappropriateandpracticable,beappliedtothosecontainersnotcoveredbyInternationalStan-dards.Itappliesonlytovesselsstowingcontainerslongitudinally.

【摘要】:Ifthematerialtobetestedincludesformingskins,theapparentoveralldensity,ortheapparentcoredensity,orboth,shallbedetermined.Ifthematerialdoesnothaveformingskins,thetermoveralldensityisnotapplicable.Thistestmethodisalsoapplicabletosprayfoammaterials.Beforeproceedingwiththistestmethod,referenceshallbemadetothespecificationofthematerialbeingtested.Anytestspecimenpreparation,conditioning,dimensions,ortestingparameters,orcombinationthereof,coveredintherelevantASTMmaterialsspecificationshalltakeprecedenceoverthosementionedinthistestmethod.IftherearenorelevantASTMmaterialspecifications,thenthedefaultconditionsinthismethodapply.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedensityofacellularplastic.Densitycanbeevaluatedastheapparentoveralldensity(includesformingskins)orbyapparentcoredensity(formingskinsremoved).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThistestmethodisequivalenttoISO845.
