【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistofurnishqualifiedtechnicalpersonnelwithpertinentinformationforuseinselectingmaterialsforoxygenserviceinordertominimizetheprobabilityofignitionandtheriskofexplosionorfire.Itisnotintendedasaspecificationforapprovingmaterialsforoxygenservice.1.1Thisguideappliestononmetallicmaterials,(hereinaftercalledmaterials)underconsiderationforoxygenoroxygen-enrichedfluidservice,directorindirect,asdefinedbelow.Itisintendedforuseinselectingmaterialsforapplicationsinconnectionwiththeproduction,storage,transportation,distribution,oruseofoxygen.Itisconcernedprimarilywiththepropertiesofamaterialassociatedwithitsrelativesusceptibilitytoignitionandpropagationofcombustion;itdoesnotinvolvemechanicalproperties,potentialtoxicity,outgassing,reactionsbetweenvariousmaterialsinthesystem,functionalreliability,orperformancecharacteristicssuchasaging,shredding,orsloughingofparticles,exceptwhenthesemightcontributetoanignition.1.2Whenthisdocumentwasoriginallypublishedin1980,itaddressedbothmetalsandnonmetals.ItsscopehasbeennarrowedtoaddressonlynonmetalsandaseparatestandardGuideG94hasbeendevelopedtoaddressmetals.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;TheAmericanSocietyforTestingandMaterialstakesnopositionrespectingthevalidityofanyevaluationmethodsassertedinconnectionwithanyitemmentionedinthisguide.Usersofthisguideareexpresslyadvisedthatdeterminationofthevalidityofanysuchevaluationmethodsanddataandtheriskofuseofsuchevaluationmethodsanddataareentirelytheirownresponsibility.Note28212;Inevaluatingmaterials,anymixturewithoxygenexceedingatmosphericconcentrationatpressureshigherthanatmosphericshouldbeevaluatedfromthehazardpointofviewforpossiblesignificantincreaseinmaterialcombustibility.
