【摘要】:1.1ThisOutlinecoversequipmentintendedtorecoveroneormorespecificrefrigerantsotherthanR12orR134afromautomotiveair-conditioningsystems,ThevariousrefrigerantsaretobeEPASNAP-acceptedautomotiverefrigerants.Therecoveredrefrigerant(s)istobeprocessedtoasingleormultiplestoragecontainers.1.2Therecoveredrefrigerantshallbereturnedtoarefrigerantreclamationfacilitythatwillprocessittonewproductspecificationsordestroyit.Therefrigerantremovedfromanautomotiveair-conditioningsystemwiththisequipmentshallnotbedirectlyreturnedtoanautomotiveair-conditioningsystem.1.3ThisOutlinecoversequipmentusedtoserviceautomobiles,lighttrucks,andothervehicleswithsimilarair-conditioningsystems.1.4Theequipmentshallbesuitableforuseinanautomotiveservicegarageenvironment.1.5Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisOutline,andthatinvolvesariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstodeterminethatthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisOutlineismaintained.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisOutlineshallnetbejudgedtocomplywiththisOutline.Whereappropriate,revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisOutline.
