【摘要】:ThispartofISO7267specifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheapparenthardnessofvulcanizedrubberrollercovers,expressedasthePuseyandJonesindentationvalue.ThePuseyandJonesplastometerapparatusisusedtomeasurethedepthofindentationofanindentorunderaspecifiedforceintothesurfaceoftherubber.TheindentationvalueshouldnotbeconfusedwithhardnessasmeasuredbytheinternationalrubberhardnesstestmethodISO48[1],sinceinthismethodtherubberimmediatelyadjacenttotheindentorisprecompressed.ThePuseyandJonesindentationvalueisaninversemeasurementofhardness,i.e.thehardertherubberthelowerthePuseyandJonesindentationvalue.
